Getting To Roseshire

Roseshire Festival takes place at Chester House Estate, Northamptonshire.

With thousands of people travelling to and from the festival each day, please plan your journey in advance and read the travel information below before setting off.

Driving to Roseshire

If you're driving to the festival, please use the festival entrance from Claudius Way.

As you get closer to the festival, please follow the event signage and directions from our traffic management team rather than alternative routes suggested by your sat nav.

Please allow extra time for your journey, particularly during peak arrival and departure times.

Vehicles can be left in the festival car park overnight if required, but must be collected by 10am the following morning. Vehicles are left at the owner's risk.

If you're using another taxi, private hire vehicle, minibus, Uber, or being dropped off by friends or family, please use the designated pick-up and drop-off area accessed via Claudius Way, NN8 2DH.

We strongly recommend pre-booking your journey home. There will be a large number of people leaving the festival at similar times and taxi availability is likely to be limited if you wait until the end of the night to arrange one.

Official Shuttle Buses

Official Roseshire Festival shuttle buses will operate on both Saturday and Sunday, connecting the festival with selected nearby towns.

Shuttle bus places must be booked in advance and availability on some services is limited.

Please arrive at your designated pick-up point in plenty of time for your booked departure.

Return transport is included with your shuttle bus booking, with buses departing from the festival after the event.

Under 16s travel FREE on our Sunday shuttle buses, but a free child place must still be selected when booking.

Walking to Roseshire

We strongly advise against walking to Chester House Estate.

Following consultation with the venue and Safety Advisory Group, the advice we have been given is that the roads surrounding the site are not suitable for the expected level of pedestrian traffic, particularly when thousands of people are leaving the festival after dark.

There is also no designated festival pedestrian entrance via the River Nene bridge, surrounding meadows, lakes or other rear approaches to Chester House Estate.

We are not saying that people are prohibited from walking in the wider area. Ultimately, how you choose to travel is your decision. However, as event organisers we have a duty of care to our visitors and therefore strongly recommend that you do not walk to or from the festival.

Please use the official shuttle buses, drive and use the festival car park, or arrange a taxi/private hire vehicle to the designated Claudius Way entrance.

Please Plan Your Journey in Advance

Whichever way you're travelling, please make your arrangements before festival day.

In particular, we recommend booking parking, shuttle buses and return taxis in advance rather than relying on availability on the day.

Our transport arrangements have been put in place to help everyone arrive and leave as safely and smoothly as possible. Please follow festival signage and instructions from our stewards and traffic management team when you arrive.
