Jo Rox’s love affair with house music began in the 90s — on vinyl, on the dancefloor and immersed in the club scene. A seasoned clubber with an instinctive feel for what makes a dancefloor move, music has always been a huge part of her life.

After stepping back from the decks for a while, Jo returned to DJing in the 2020s and quickly reignited a passion that had never really gone away. Since then, she’s played a high-profile private birthday party and festival sets, developing a sound built around uplifting, funky and feel-good house music with one simple aim: to create energy and get people dancing.

For Jo, DJing is about picking out her favourite tracks, finding new bootleg bangers and transferring those moments when everything clicks to the dancefloor and sharing the buzz.
