Luna Rosa are a UK indie-alt quartet from Corby, Northamptonshire, known for their intense live performances and emotionally driven sound. Blending moody atmospheres with raw, groove-laden energy, the band fuse textured guitars, pulsing basslines, dynamic drums and haunting vocals to create music that feels both cinematic and visceral. Their sound sits between indie rock, post-punk urgency and psychedelic textures, built around tension, rhythm and release.
Formed through late-night jam sessions and a shared love of alternative and experimental music, Luna Rosa have built their reputation the old-fashioned way — through relentless touring and powerful live shows. Over the years they have played more than 300 gigs across the UK, developing a reputation as a compelling grassroots act capable of winning over new audiences with immersive, high-energy performances.
Their live journey has seen them share stages with respected artists including The Horrors, Reef, The Lightning Seeds, Space and Glen Matlock, while also appearing at notable festivals such as Dot to Dot Festival, Doune the Rabbit Hole, Sonic Boom Festival and A Stone’s Throw Festival. These performances have helped establish Luna Rosa as a band that thrives in both intimate venues and festival environments.
On record, the band have continued to evolve their sound while retaining the intensity that defines them. Releases including the Brutal Nature EP and singles such as “MK Ultra” and “Fever” showcase their ability to balance raw energy with atmospheric depth. Their music has received support from BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, helping expand their reach beyond the grassroots scene.
