Maddox Jones is a Northampton-born singer-songwriter blending soulful pop, indie influences and honest storytelling. Known for turning themes of heartbreak, resilience and personal growth into uplifting, sing-along moments, his music balances emotional depth with infectious melodies and feel-good energy.
After fronting indie band The Departure — achieving four UK Top 40 hits and touring alongside acts including The Killers and Placebo — Maddox launched his solo career in 2020, quickly gaining support from BBC Radio and national TV appearances. His releases have charted on iTunes, while his albums Believe It and Waiting for the World to Turn showcase his evolution as a songwriter exploring reflection, mental health and hope through modern pop songwriting.
Maddox has toured extensively across the UK, supporting artists such as Will Young, Lucy Spraggan and Rebecca Ferguson, building a reputation for heartfelt, high-energy live performances that connect instantly with audiences.
A passionate mental health advocate, he has also visited schools nationwide delivering motivational talks alongside performances, using music as a platform for connection and positivity.
